Weekly music lessons are booked in thirty minute blocks however, some students prefer to learn multiple instruments or simply want a longer lesson.
Castlerock Music Academy is happy to accommodate your needs and availability.
Our standard lesson prices are $45 (including GST) for children and $50 (including GST) for adults. Standard lessons are thirty minute, one to one private music lessons with one of our highly skilled music teachers. All new students get a FREE Trial Music Lesson to meet the teacher and check out our facilities. We also have advanced teachers available for advanced students for just $50 per lesson.
You get what you pay for. After all, you wouldn’t send your child to a stationery shop for a school education so why would you send your child to a retail music shop for music lessons.
No catch! Every new student over 6 years old is entitled to a Free Trial Music Lesson. We’re so confident in our high level of service and fantastic teachers, one lesson is all you’ll need to be sure Castlerock Music Academy is the right place for you.

Here at Castlerock, you get an introductory Free Trial Music Lesson and can cancel at any time. We offer Pay As You Go lessons with no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees! A variety of payment options are available.
As with all professional organisations, there are set up procedures that need to take place. With over 300 students across 3 academies, our full time admin staff and teachers use a program specifically designed for music teaching facilities to schedule lessons, track attendance and keep a record of student progress. This program is web based and allows you to log-in from any computer or mobile device to check on the next lesson time/day and see the notes a teacher has made. Teachers notes may include practice reminders, song suggestions or private notes to parents for progress reports. The admin fee covers the cost of set up and maintenance for our comprehensive student database and lesson scheduling program.
Each parent/student makes a booking for lessons on the same day and time each week, and Castlerock is not obliged to provide make-ups for students who cannot attend.Due to the Federal Government's change in legislation in regard to work policies, lessons will be locked in on the clients chosen days and times, as certain requirements for hiring employees need to be met. Should you wish to permanently change your chosen day and time, we require that you give us 2 weeks notice by email to Lessons@Castlerock.net.au Your tuition fee reserves you a specific agreed time for you or your child's lesson. Lessons missed by the student are forfeited and will still be charged for. It will not be rescheduled or changed to a different time. The only exceptions to the above term will be illness/injuries with a medical certificate or death in the family.
An absence because of illness without a doctor's certificate will be forfeited. As Castlerock Music Academy continues to grow, and due to the high standard of our Teachers, whose availability we respect, Castlerock Music Academy reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if your child's regular teacher is unable to teach due to sickness or a prior booking for a contractual performance. All lessons cancelled by teachers will be rescheduled.
