To be eligible for a free trial music lesson, the student must be no younger than 6 years old and not have been enrolled at Castlerock Music Academy previously.
Eligible students are entitled to one free 30 minute lesson on any instrument with a suitable, available teacher.
There is no obligation to sign up and you will not be pressured to continue lessons.
If a student has had a free trial lesson or returning after an extended break, a $30 enrolment fee applies to set up PAYG weekly lessons.
Automatic debit forms can be completed on the day (excluding Saturdays) or prior to the first paid lesson.
Contact admin regarding alternate payment options.
If more than 24 hours notice is given, a change of day/time will be offered depending on availability.
If less than 24 hours notice is given, the lesson fee will still be charged.
If no notice is given, the lesson will be forfeit.
If notice is given and a suitable time can’t be arranged, you will receive a make-up credit to be used during the next school holidays.
(Limit – 1 Per School Term)
If the make-up credit is not used during the school holidays, it will be void at the commencement of the next school term.
If you choose to attend lessons on a fortnightly or irregular basis, you may be asked to reschedule, to accommodate a regular weekly student.
Illness or Injury
To be eligible for a make-up lesson due to illness or injury, notice must be given via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 9am on the day of the lesson.
A doctors note must also be provided to authorise the make-up lesson.
Make-up limit applies.
If you do not wish to continue lessons, please send written confirmation of the cancellation via email to email@example.com
Informing a teacher or member of staff verbally or via sms is not sufficient notice for cancellation.
In an ongoing attempt to improve our services, please include some feedback regarding your time at Castlerock Music Academy.
Notice of cancellation can be given at any time however, payments will continue for 2 lesson payments at the standard lesson rate.
The student is still permitted to attend lessons during the cancellation period however, no lesson credits or refund will be offered should they choose to not attend.
Public Holidays and School Holidays
Lessons continue through school holidays and public holidays, excluding 2 weeks during the end of year break.
